If you suffer from bruxism, which is the medical term used to describe grinding of the teeth, you're not the only one. Many of these mouth guards are designed to be worn overnight, so it is imperative that they fit comfortably and work correctly. Whether you use a dental guard or a store bought one it may take awhile to get used to the sensation of a mouth guard.

In addition to trying mouth guard grinding products, you may want to consult with your physician. He or she can evaluate your medical condition and even the medications you may be taking to see if there is an underlying cause for the bruxism that can be remedied medically. In some cases stress causes bruxism, as do certain pharmaceuticals. Another thing to consider is alternative healing strategies like massage and acupuncture, which may work well together with traditional dental and medical treatments.
