A Mouth Guard
There are two main reasons why you may require a mouth guard. If you participate in sports, a mouth guard is imperative when it comes to protecting your teeth and mouth from injury. The other reason to wear a protector in your mouth is to prevent nighttime bruxism or teeth grinding. Left untreated, bruxism can lead to pain in the jaw, head, neck and shoulders and can even cause damage to the temporomandibular joint.
